Join us for the second session of the NSLE Monthly Discussion Series on Friday, 9th October, 2026. The event will take place at Jyapu Samaj Nepal, Balkumari, Lalitpur, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The evening will open with the continuation of the foundational lecture on Law and Economics by Dr. Shiva Giri. This will be followed by a discussion of infrastructure development in Nepal through the lens of law and economics, drawing especially on Coasian analysis of transaction costs and property rights. We will close the evening by selecting the editorial committee of the Society, an important step as NSLE begins building its publication work. Whether or not you attended the inaugural session, all are welcome to attend and take part in the conversation.

We will also spend time discussing the structure of the Society itself and the path ahead, an opportunity for members and newcomers alike to help shape what NSLE becomes.
